How to Set Up Your Email Client (Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird, etc.)

Last updated on May 12, 2025

After the migration to our new platform, you’ll need to update your email client settings to continue sending and receiving email. This guide covers how to configure your email using IMAP (recommended), POP3 (optional), and SMTP settings.

Using IMAP keeps your email in sync across multiple devices (desktop, phone, tablet, etc.). Here's how to configure your email client:

Incoming Mail (IMAP)

  • Server: mail.enmail.co

  • Protocol: IMAP

  • Port: 993

  • Encryption: SSL/TLS

Outgoing Mail (SMTP)

  • Server: mail.enmail.co

  • Port: 465

  • Encryption: SSL/TLS

📥 Optional Settings (POP3)

POP3 downloads your emails to your device and removes them from the server (not recommended unless you need offline-only access).

Incoming Mail (POP3)

  • Server: mail.enmail.co

  • Port: 995

  • Encryption: SSL/TLS

Outgoing Mail (SMTP)

  • Same as IMAP setup above.

💡 Additional Notes

  • Username: Your full email address (e.g., yourname@yourdomain.com)

  • Password: Use the updated password shown in the Migration Tracker

  • Authentication Required: Yes (for both incoming and outgoing servers)

  • Secure Password Authentication (SPA): ❌ Do not enable SPA, especially if using Microsoft Outlook
